The mention of Sarah Williamson brought to mind a page I saw in a stack from under the basement steps.

Caroline Kimmel  had done some research on the Williamson Family the hard way -- she drove to Indiana! I understand that Carolyn is still around, but is in poor health. Her brother, Danny, is also knowledgeable about the family matters, but didn't return my phone calls the last time I tried a few years ago. Perhaps it's time to call him again and bring him up to date!

There is nothing of earth shaking value here, but perhaps it will fill a gap or two.

Notes & a few errors:
+ The date of the letter is unknown, but is believed to be from the early 1970's.
+This letter is believed to be written in an exchange with another researcher who was following Martin Williamson of Chester, Illinois and Byrd Williamson.
+ She mentions the correct numbers on George's Pension papers, but the pension papers are very detailed and make no mention of Missouri. As discussed previously, George is 99.999% certain NOT to have been in Missouri as a participant in the Civil War.

+  George Williamson's son is mentioned & was a comptemorary of Claude. We now know what happened to 4:George Davis Williamson .
+ The Book mentioned "in an old room" is suspicious since little supporting information is given. Take it for what it is worth.
+ Refer to the Family Tree to see John Nugent. John apparently had a son who was a teacher in Normal, Illinois, date unknown.
